Turon Industrial Investment was selected as the winning bidder for a 34.2% state stake in Uz Truck and Bus Motors, offering UZS 200 billion. The process was structured around the existing shareholder rights of the company’s two strategic industrial partners.

Five bidders participated across the expression-of-interest, non-binding-offer and binding-offer stages. Portfolio Investments acted as lead financial adviser and coordinated access to due-diligence materials during the final stage.

The agreed term sheet includes a commitment to preserve the company’s core activity for at least five years and support its development. The privatization results were approved by the State Commission.
