Category B membership of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange expanded the firm’s regulated execution and government-securities capabilities.
The Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange admitted Portfolio Investments as a Category B member, enabling the firm to participate in exchange trading and carry out operations in Uzbekistan’s government-securities market.
The milestone expanded Portfolio Investments’ regulated market-access infrastructure and strengthened its ability to support clients with government-bond execution, brokerage and post-trade coordination.
For eligible clients, this creates a clearer route from onboarding and order execution through settlement within Uzbekistan’s regulated market framework.
