The five-year strategy sets EBRD priorities in Uzbekistan through 2029. Priority one covers decarbonisation, water efficiency, cleaner energy and modernised power networks.

Priority two covers private-sector finance, employment, inclusion, digitalisation and local capital markets. Priority three covers SOE and bank transformation, privatisation, PPPs, governance and connectivity. EBRD had invested about €4.28 billion in 147 Uzbek projects at the time of publication.

The strategy indicates where EBRD capital and policy support may concentrate, but it does not constitute a commitment to a specified volume of new investment.
