Approximately 5.3 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January–June 2025. Visits increased by 1.7 million, or 48.9%, year on year.
Visits to relatives accounted for 3,596,799 arrivals. Travel accounted for 783,696 arrivals and official purposes for 594,023. Commercial-purpose arrivals totalled 223,581.
The reported increase supports capacity and revenue cases for hospitality, aviation, rail, payments and consumer services, while the preliminary data may still be revised by the statistical authority.
