Large solar and wind plants generated 1.028 billion kWh in April 2026, up 91.8 million kWh year on year. Solar contributed 700.2 million kWh and wind 328.1 million kWh.
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy reported that the country’s large solar and wind power plants generated 1.0283 billion kWh of electricity in April 2026. Output increased by 91.8 million kWh, or 9.8%, from April 2025.
Solar plants supplied 700.2 million kWh during the month and wind plants contributed 328.1 million kWh. The figures describe actual electricity generation rather than installed capacity, signed project value or the full renewable share of the national power mix.
For infrastructure investors and lenders, rising dispatched output provides evidence of operating renewable assets scaling within the system. Project-level returns still depend on availability, curtailment, grid connection, offtaker credit quality, tariff and indexation terms, currency exposure, maintenance costs and the timing of transmission investment.
