Industrial production reached UZS 175 trillion in the first two months of 2026, up 7.7% year on year. Output per capita was UZS 4.6 million and 61,800 industrial enterprises were operating at 1 March.
Uzbekistan produced UZS 175 trillion of industrial goods in January–February 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee. The official release reported a 7.7% increase from the corresponding period of 2025.
Industrial production per capita amounted to UZS 4.6 million. The Committee recorded 61,800 operating industrial enterprises as of 1 March, providing a broad indicator of the formal production base but not a measure of capacity utilisation or company-level profitability.
For corporate and credit analysis, sustained output growth can support demand for working capital, equipment, logistics and power infrastructure. The investment implications remain sector-specific: margins depend on energy and imported-input costs, pricing power, export demand, foreign-exchange exposure and the ability of producers to translate higher volumes into cash flow.
