Preliminary official data put real GDP growth at 7.7% in 2025 and current-price output at UZS 1,849.7 trillion. The release establishes a strong macro backdrop, while sector mix, inflation and external balances remain central to investor analysis.

Uzbekistan’s National Statistics Committee reported that gross domestic product increased by 7.7% in real terms in 2025. Preliminary GDP at current prices amounted to UZS 1,849.7 trillion, compared with UZS 1,535.4 trillion reported for 2024.

The current-price series also shows GDP of UZS 1,261.8 trillion in 2023 and UZS 1,041.9 trillion in 2022. These nominal values incorporate price effects and should not be treated as a real-growth series or converted into hard currency without using the relevant period exchange rates.

For investors, the 7.7% real expansion supports the case for continued growth in domestic demand, financial intermediation and investment activity. Credit and valuation conclusions still require a closer view of sector contributions, inflation, fiscal execution, external financing and the extent to which productivity and export capacity keep pace with demand.
