UzSAMA launched an international process for a 99.35% state stake in Uzagrosugurta. Deloitte was appointed lead financial adviser and vendor-diligence provider; PwC was selected as independent appraiser.

The insurer offered more than 100 services across all 17 insurance classes through nearly 1,000 agents. Gross insurance premiums for 2024 were UZS 418.2 billion. The company carried a Moody’s Ba3 rating, and the two-stage sale required a guarantee payment of at least 1% of the binding bid.

The two-stage process provides strategic access and an operating benchmark for a nationally distributed insurer, but its launch confirms neither a buyer, an agreed price nor a completed transfer.
