Centrum Aviation FZCO was selected as the winning bidder for a 100% state stake in Uz-Koram Kompani, with an offer of US$24 million. Five investors submitted expressions of interest, four qualified for the next stage and two delivered binding offers.
Portfolio Investments advised the privatization, coordinated access to the virtual data room and supported financial, tax, legal and environmental due diligence. The selected price exceeded the independent valuation and was assessed against the adviser’s indicative range.
The transaction conditions require the buyer to preserve the company’s core activity and comply with applicable automotive technology and licensing obligations for at least ten years. In strategic industrial sales, bidder qualification and clearly documented technical obligations can reduce execution risk without weakening competition. Reliable operational data and proportionate covenants also help buyers underwrite the post-acquisition investment plan.
