The forum attracted more than 2,500 foreign guests from 93 countries. Uzbekistan reported more than US$60 billion of foreign investment attracted in recent years.

More than US$14 billion from international financial institutions had been directed to social and infrastructure projects. An EBRD agreement was signed at the forum to support the privatisation of Asakabank. The government announced plans for a new investment law, an international commercial court and 49-year land leases for foreign investors.

For investment banks, the forum combined transaction origination with concrete reforms; the cumulative investment figure is not the value of new agreements signed at the event.
