Anadolu Isuzu’s accepted offer for the 75.2% state stake combines a US$80m purchase price with a US$80m investment plan, subject to Turkish approvals.

UzSAMA accepted Anadolu Isuzu’s binding offer for Uzbekistan’s 75.2% state stake in Samarkand Automobile Factory. The agreed terms combine a US$80m purchase price with a US$80m investment plan; completion remained subject to regulatory approvals in Türkiye.

KPMG advised the sale, Dentons provided legal advice and PwC acted as independent appraiser. Existing shareholders Itochu and Isuzu Motors, each holding 12.4%, supported the process as required by the company’s founding documents.

The investment plan covers 12–18 metre buses, electric buses, national service centres and exports across several regions. The transaction is therefore an agreed control sale with committed future capex, not yet evidence that the acquisition closed or the investment was deployed.
