IFC and DAVR-BANK signed a US$40m package for micro and small enterprises, including US$10m mobilised from Invest in Visions and a 25% allocation to women-led firms.

IFC and DAVR-BANK signed a US$40m loan package for micro and small enterprises. IFC committed US$30m from its own account and mobilised another US$10m from Invest in Visions GmbH; signing does not establish that the entire package was immediately disbursed.

Twenty-five per cent of the financing was earmarked for women-led businesses. The facility forms part of IFC’s MSME Finance Platform Base of the Pyramid Envelope, giving the transaction a defined target segment and measurable gender allocation.

The package diversifies DAVR-BANK’s term funding and demonstrates mobilisation alongside a multilateral lender. Investors should monitor drawdown, origination, pricing, asset quality and whether the targeted allocation translates into seasoned loan performance.
