UzSAMA launched the sale of a 100% state stake in the National Interbank Processing Centre, operator of HUMO. Deloitte was appointed transaction adviser and the sale was structured as a three-stage public invitation to negotiate.

The company reported authorised capital of UZS 155.4 billion. More than 27 million HUMO debit cards had been issued, supported by over 210,000 terminals and more than 6,400 ATMs. Final-stage bidders were required to post security of at least 1% of their binding price offer.

This is a rare sale of control over systemically important payments infrastructure; launching the process establishes neither a transaction price nor a completed disposal.
