The policy rate remained 14% per annum. September headline inflation was 9.2%, food inflation 11.0% and core inflation 10.3%.
GDP grew 5.8% in January–September, with services expanding 12.1%. Cash receipts grew 28%, while cross-border remittances fell 33.7% from a high base. Term deposits rose 47.1%, including 52.3% growth in household term deposits.
The hold preserved attractive nominal yields, while strong domestic activity and deposits offset weaker remittances in the macro-financial picture.
