The local-currency loan totalled UZS 625 billion, equivalent to about US$50 million. A majority of proceeds was allocated to MSMEs outside Tashkent.

At least 20% was earmarked for women-owned or women-led MSMEs. At least 10% was earmarked for green-technology investments. ADB estimated that nearly 500,000 MSMEs contributed more than 50% of Uzbekistan's GDP.

The facility expands long-term soum funding for a private bank and directs credit towards regional, women-led and green borrowers; the signed amount is not yet lending to end clients.
